The thesis consists of two parts: practical and theoretical. The practical part contains the Czech translation of the introduction and the first three chapters of the Spanish parents' guide to autism Un niño con autismo en la familia, Guía básica para familias que han recibido un diagnóstico de autismo para su hijo o hija. The book published by The Institute on Community Integration (INICO) deals with difficulties of the inner acceptation of the diagnosis and provides basic information on autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The theoretical part includes the translation commentary where the aplied translation procedures, translation problems encoutered while translating and their solutions are discussed on the basis of the translation analysis of the original text. The thesis consists of two parts: practical and theoretical. The practical part contains the translation from Spanish to Czech of the third chapter from the book named Peru written by Patricio Rubio Romero. The book is about historical, geographical, economic, political and demographic issues. The theoretical part includes the translation commentary, namely the analysis of the original text, the description of the method of translation, translation problems, that occured during the process of translation, and their solutions and the typology of translation shifts.

The thesis consists of two parts: practical and theoretical. The practical part contains the Czech translation of the selected chapters of the Spanish guide for the novices in the world of flamenco, Guía del flamenco, published in 1999 by the Ediciones Ismo. The guide deals with the theme of flamenco, its origin and its components beginning with particular kinds of flamenco dance, the singing and the accompanying instruments with a special focus on the guitar. The theoretical part includes the translation annotation where the applied translation procedures, translation problems encountered while translating and their solutions are discussed on the basis of the translation analysis of the original text. Abstact This bachelor's thesis is composed of two parts: a translation of the chosen text and a commentary of the translation. The direction of the translation was from Spanish to Czech. The selected text is a phonetic article which refers to the description of the phonetometry protocol. The author of this article is Edmon Elgström Misol. The commentary is focused on the analysis of the original text,on the problems of the translation along with solution, and on the typology of translation shifts.
